Sierra Locator (“the App”) is a private location-sharing application developed and operated by Makarii Mysiv for Sierra Expediting Inc. The App is intended exclusively for authorized Sierra Expediting Inc. personnel using organization-owned and organization-managed iPads assigned to trucks.

Information We Collect

When enabled on an authorized managed device, Sierra Locator collects:

• Precise device location, including latitude, longitude, and location accuracy.
• Location-related measurements when available, including altitude, speed, and course.
• A persistent app-generated device identifier.
• A unique event identifier used to prevent duplicate processing.

The app does not collect contacts, photos, messages, browsing history, advertising identifiers, or data from other apps.

Background Location

Sierra Locator may collect location while running in the background when the user grants iOS “Always” location permission and the organization enables location sharing for the device. iOS displays its standard background-location indicators. Users can review or change location permission in iOS Settings, subject to applicable organization device-management policies.

How We Use Information

We use the iPad's location for approved work operations, including dispatch coordination and operational visibility of the truck to which the iPad is assigned.

We do not use this information for advertising, cross-app tracking, sale of personal information, or purposes unrelated to approved work operations.

How Information Is Shared

Sierra Locator sends the most recently reported iPad location over HTTPS to Sierra Expedite's transportation-management system. Access is limited to authorized Sierra Expedite personnel and service providers acting on our instructions and subject to confidentiality and data-protection obligations.

We do not sell location data.

Retention and Deletion

Sierra Locator does not retain a location history. It displays only the most recently reported location for the truck's assigned iPad; that location is replaced when a newer location is received.

To request access, correction, or deletion of other information, contact info@mkrmsv.com. Requests may be subject to legal, contractual, employment, security, and record-retention requirements.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect information. Location events are transmitted using HTTPS. No transmission or storage method is completely secure.
